Co-fermented with 3% Viognier.
From the tiny yielding 2022 vintage, the inclusion of 25% whole bunches, 3% Viognier and wild yeast fermentation bring floral notes and bright crunchy stem and black spice complexity to the nose and palate. 18 months maturation in 2 to 5 year old French oak provides a fine savoury edge in harmony with the vibrant and concentrated red and blue fruit notes from the vineyard. Enjoy now to 10+ years.

Deep red and youthful appearance. Dark fruited aromas of blackberry, mulberry, dark cherry, spice, licorice and graphite. Rich, firm and focused on the palate; there's a plush drive of dark fruits, a lick of blueberry, quality oak and sweet spice. Textured, grainy tannins and lively acidity round the palate out very nicely and bring savouriness and mouth-feel. Drink 2023–2033 93/100
