Tasting
Notes
Shimmering rose gold, fine, complex, crisp and refreshingly dry.
A splash of aged reserve wine at dosage lends a burst of complexity and expands the palate in all directions.

On the 2017 vintage.... "A blend of Macedon Ranges chardonnay (51%) and pinot noir from Henty (39%), Pyrenees (7%) and Ballarat (3%). Hand picked, whole-bunch pressed off skins, pressings fermented separately. Three years on yeast lees, dosage 3 g/L. One of the few sparkling makers to inform drinkers of the date of disgorgement (October 2020), which is to be applauded. Attractive salmon-pink hue. Cranberry nougat, strawberry, toasted hazelnut aromas lead into a long and focused rosé of substance and complexity. Cool acidity of the cool regions bring crunch to the palate and a long finish". 95 Points - Gold.
