MH Curious Wine Box - Summer Collection

We understand if you don't want to commit to a full subscription. That's okay with us!! Just try out our latest 6-pack selection and see what you think! Our mouth-watering line-up of wines has got us pretty excited! We bring you our Summer 2023 selection:

2023 Kimbarra Riesling - Great Western, Grampians, Victoria

Kimbarra is nestled in the rolling hills near Great Western, Victoria. A third-generation winery, the Leeke family first planted vines on the fine wool property in 1978.

We are massive fans of the Kimbarra Riesling, buying it regularly, and this 2023 is one of their best.

2022 Hoddles Creek ‘1er Yarra Valley’ Pinot Blanc - Hoddles Creek, Yarra Valley, Vic.

It's another long-time MH favourite that’s only released in the very best years. Mike Bennie from The Wine Front sums it up pretty well I reckon:

‘This captures the variety with aplomb. Beautiful scents of nashi pear, marzipan, fennel and lime, with similar flavours found in each sip."

2022 Pianogrillo Grillo - Sicily, Italy.

Grillo is a versatile indigenous white wine that has been used for centuries for Marsala production in Sicily and has featured on the MH list many times.

2015 Taltarni Cuvée Rosé - Victoria & Tasmania

Established in 1969, Taltarni Vineyards is one of the pioneering wineries of Victoria’s Pyrenees wine region, and their experience shows in wines like this stunning sparkling. Pale salmon. Cherry, cranberry, white mushroom and baked pastry aromas.

2022 Descombes ‘Keke’ Beaujolais - Beaujolais, France

This again has textbook Beaujolais aromas of blueberries, vine sap, earth, flowers and iodine. Whistle clean, bright and uplifting this is light to medium-bodied and wonderfully pure.

2022 Oakdene Cabernet Franc - Bellarine Peninsula, Geelong, Victoria.

Another recent trophy winner, this time at the Geelong wine show. In a region better known for its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this wine was one of 3 trophy and 6 gold medal winners for the talented team from Oakdene.
